Playwright Bio

Robert Montenegro is a DC-based playwright, writer, and dramaturg. His plays have been workshopped and/or produced by Rorschach Theatre, CUA Drama, Blind Pug Arts Collective, The Inkwell, and others. Robert is on staff at the sports humor website Crooked Scoreboard and was previously an Ideafeed Editor at Big Think. He holds an MFA in Playwriting from the Catholic University of America and is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. He is currently the Theatre Services Manager at the Shakespeare Theatre Company in DC.

Robert Montenegro is a DC-based writer and editor who has worked with sites such as Big Think and Crooked Scoreboard. With Big Think, he published over 1,000 posts and curated several blogs including Words of Wisdom, Genius or Crazy, and Think Tank. Robert also ran the Big Think Twitter account. He is a graduate of both the Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. and Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
